Find A Pet Online hopes you and your family (two & four legged members!) had a wonderful holiday together this year. I would also like to welcome the newest member of my personal family, an adorable 8 week old Bichon Frise!
The Bichon Frise is a wonderful little dog with a playful manner, and most of all the breed is non-shedding and hypo-allergenic. So far we have really enjoyed our new bundle, and she gets along great with a larger dog which we already had.
If you are interested in a Bichon Frise puppy for sale we have some listed in our pet classifieds at Find A Pet Online. If you are a Bichon Breeder, please feel free to place an ad on our site to sell a Bichon Frise puppy.

The holidays are a fun and joyous time with our family and friends gathered together to celebrate the season. It can easily be forgotten that it can also be a dangerous time for our pets. We bring many potential hazards into our home, which endanger the health and even the very lives of our best friends. With some care we can avoid any unnecessary trips to the veterinarian. Below are some dangers to consider carefully this holiday season around your home to keep your pets safe.
Tinsel on Christmas trees can obstruct bowels
Chocolate from candy, cookies, drinks, etc. is poisonous if ingested
Turkey bones are chocking and intestine dangers
Poinsettias and other holiday plants are poisonous if eaten
Electrical cords can electrocute if chewed on
Poorly designed holiday costumes can be choking hazards
Too much activity can be a stressor, consider a quiet room during get-togethers at your home.
This is only a brief list of dangers, so please be mindful of your particular pet and his habits so they can have a happy holiday with the rest of the family.

As we enter the holiday season one of the charitable contributions my daughter and I like to make is to our local Humane Society. There are many dogs and cats looking for loving homes all year long in shelters all over the US.
Many of these animal shelters operate on very tight budgets and can use donations all year long. For our local chapter dog food, cat food, cat litter, and blankets are always needed and if you can spare some of your time that can be used as well.
Whether you are a dog breeder, cat lover, veterinarian, or just a humanitarian take a minute to think if those less fortunate four-legged friends looking for homes.
