English Cocker Spaniel

The English cocker spaniel holds a similar temperament to its American counterpart. It is well mannered, playful, loving, respectful of its family, and great around children. Because of strict breeding, and wonderful socialization few English cocker spaniels have issues with aggression, or ill temperament with other animals.

As a great family dog, the English cocker spaniel is attentive and mindful of commands given by its owner. Unlike its American counterpart it does not hold the same tendency toward shyness. The English cocker spaniel is even respectful of strangers, and very outgoing. All in all the English cocker spaniel is a wonderful companion animal.
